Olympic-Sized Giveaway!

Do you have Olympic fever? Here are a few symptoms I've experienced:

1. Social media withdrawals from avoiding spoilers on Facebook and Twitter
2. Dragging in the morning after staying up late to watch every last minute of TV coverage
3. Screaming "Go! Go! Go!" at the TV during swim races
4. Having anxiety attacks while watching male gymnasts on the pommel horse

I can't get enough of the Games. I found myself watching water polo the other day and was fascinated. The Trampoline event? You bet I want to see that!

Since I write stories about Olympic athletes, I wanted to do something special on my blog during the Games, and what better way to celebrate the excitement of the Olympics than to have a giveaway! I'm giving away the following two prizes:

$10 Amazon gift card
Life on the Edge prize pack (includes a signed bookmark, the soundtrack CD, and other goodies!)

TWO PRIZES = TWO WINNERS!

To enter, simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below.

Open to U.S./Canada residents. Giveaway ends at midnight on Friday, August 10, 2012.

Thanks so much for participating!

  6. OMG! I've been all over the Olympics since last Friday - well, early 'cause of football - and I've been LOVING volleyball, it's just such an amazing sport.

Swimming has been amazing as has diving - though I'm convinced everyone just gives the Chinese divers extra points they don't deserve half the time!!.

Anyway, one of my favorite ever Olympic experiences was probably in 2010 watching Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir win gold in dancing. Dance is like the ugly-duckling of skating, but I just plain love it. You couldn't tear me away when their performance was on.

And gymnastics! Gymnastics has been amazing this year too.

  12. I love everything! I'm so addicted to the Olympics. For 2 weeks I watch TV, and I normally don't really like it! LOL The athletes (in every sport including winter ones) are AMAZING!

  13. My favorite this year was seeing Gabby win the Gymnastics all around. :) She is the first African American woman to do so and oh so inspiring. My all time fave moment was seeing Michael Phelps + team USA win the free style medley back at Athens. They were the underdogs. So great!

  14. I'm not a big olympics watcher - at least more than figure skating or gymnastics when I can find it.

  15. Hmm...I am not sure about a specific moment...I really love it all!! My fave to watch is Track and Field because I was a runner back in High School (way too long ago)

  17. I had to laugh at your symptoms! We have our kids trained not to turn the tv on in the morning because we don't want to hear NBC spoil it for us once again!

  18. I don't really have a favorite Olympic moment, but my favorite thing about the Olympics is seeing sports that get no attention the rest of the year, like fencing and equestrian events.

  19. I actually haven't gotten the chance to watch any of the Olympics this year since we don't have cable :[
I've been really interested in all the events people have been talking about. Trampoline?! For real?! I'm super sad I missed that.

  20. Mary Lou Retton's win in gymnastics is the first I became involved in appreciating the Olympics.
ALso when Mitt Romney came into Utah and saved their "butt" was another great time.
